Sharing and Caring in Our Community

I live and teach in Parkland, Florida. The outpouring of love and support from around the country was astonishing. Banners sent from schools and students from coast to coast are still hugging the fence surrounding the building where most of the fatalities occurred. The building is no longer occupied, and eventually it will be replaced by a monument dedicated to the 17 students and teachers of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

With the one year anniversary approaching, our community is spending this Valentine’s Day with rememberance ceremonies and acts of kindness. Please share this free learning activity for February with your children by clicking on the link below. It focuses on sharing, caring, and tolerance of others.

May this Valentine’s Day be filled with love, warmth, and kindness.

Thank you so very much.
